Esta exposición muestra magníficas y vibrantes piezas de la Fiesta Brava, elaboradas por reconocidos artesanos cuyas manos han dado vida a modelos coloridos y festivos creados en madera, barro, alambre y otros materiales.
 
Estos dioramas y escenas capturan la intensidad y la emoción asociadas con estas tradiciones culturales, que a menudo involucran la interacción entre humanos y animales en un entorno festivo y competitivo.

One of the most renowned artisans in Jalisco is the master Jesús Carranza Cortés who created tiny and charming figures in his modest workshop in Tlaquepaque, the artistic heritage of his ancestors, experts, creators of miniatures.

Carranza learned how to create a replica of the real Mexican world in tiny polychromatic figures made from clay and wire. He models them by hand over a wooden table. When finish, He lets the figures dry in the shade, and then, if necessary, places them in the sun briefly. When ready, he fires them in a small comal griddle placed over a brazier and then process to paint them with slips and paints. The next step is to prepare a special enamel, known as témpora, from egg yolks, oil and water, to which he adds the pigments that he has prepared from from clay and earth.

Finally, he adds the facial features with a varnish of dark paint. This step in the process is very meticulous since he strives to give to each of the figures a unique personality and expression.

Uno de los mas reconocidos artesanos en Jalisco es el maestro Jesús Carranza Cortés quien creó diminutas y encantadoras figuras en su modesto taller de Tlaquepaque, la herencia artística de sus antepasados, expertos, creadores de miniaturas.

Carranza aprendió a crear una réplica del mundo real mexicano en diminutas figuras policromadas hechas de arcilla y alambre. Los modela a mano sobre una mesa de madera. Cuando termina, deja que las figuras se sequen a la sombra y luego, si es necesario, las coloca brevemente al sol. Cuando están listos, los cuece en una pequeña plancha de comal colocada sobre un brasero y luego los procesa para pintarlos con engobas y pinturas. El siguiente paso es preparar un esmalte especial, conocido como témpora, a partir de yemas de huevo, aceite y agua, al que añade los pigmentos que ha preparado a partir de arcilla y tierra.

Por último, añade los rasgos faciales con un barniz de pintura oscura. Este paso en el proceso es muy meticuloso ya que se esfuerza por darle a cada una de las figuras una personalidad y expresión únicas.
